RE: Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by Pope Francis on 25th March 2022


  1. Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Friday, 25th March 2022 (Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord). The Pope has called on the faithful around the world to join him in prayer and in communion with bishops from all over world, along with their priests on 25th March at 5.00pm (Rome Time).
  2. As Bishop of Malacca Johore Diocese, I invite all parishes to organise Holy Hour to consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary after the Way of the Cross or Mass.
  3. Those who are not able to be present physically in churches, may join the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur with Archbishop Julian Leow and Archbishop Wojciech Załuski, the Apostolic Nuncio to Malaysia, for an online prayer service on Friday, 25th March at 8:00pm which will be live-streamed via https://Tv.Archkl.org from the Cathedral of St John the Evangelist, Kuala Lumpur.
