Obituary Notice – Fr. Joseph Hung
It is with profound sadness that we announce the demise of Reverend Father Joseph Hung Cheng Kiang who passed away peacefully in his sleep at approximately 9.00am on Sunday, 19th April 2020 at Church of St Theresa, Gajah Berang, Melaka. Father Hung lived to celebrate his 95th birthday in February 2020.

Obituary Notice – Rev. Fr. Kou Ieou Yen
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the demise of Reverend Father Francis Kou Ieou Yen (aged 90 years old) at approximately 7.30am on Saturday, 7th March 2020 at Graceville, MAJODI Centre, Jalan Masai, Plentong, Johor. He had been diagnosed with a malignant growth of Sarcoma Cancer in his right kidney in mid of 2017 at age 88+, and had sought alternative treatments a couple of times in Guangdong, China in 2018. In September 2019, Father Kou’s health grew weaker but he continued to minister to all who came to visit him until his demise.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the demise of the late Rev Father Thaddeus Foo Yu Sen (aged 83) at approximately 12noon on 22nd August 2018 at Graceville, MAJODI Centre, Plentong, Johor Bahru, Johor, having being diagnosed with 4th stage Cancer of Oesophagus in September 2017.

Kindly be informed that Bishop Bernard Paul, D.D., on the behalf of our Diocese has disbursed RM200,000.00 from the Diocesan Natural Disaster Fund to the Penang Diocese Office of Human Development in solidarity with their works for flood relief in the recent floods in the state of Penang.
