In conjunction with this launch, a set of “GUIDELINES FOR FOOD CATERING IN THE PARISH” approved by his lordship Bishop Bernard Paul was announced. It is hope that these guidelines will further support parishes to reduce the amount of plastics use at events. Parishioners were invited to build the culture of BYOCCBring Your Own Container & Cutlery everywhere you go. In his speech, His Lordship ended with a CALL to “think clean, be clean and keep clean”.

The Church of St Theresa Masai (CSTM) has been organizing “Go Green Carnival” annually on Hari Malaysia since 2018 interrupted by COVID pandemic in 2020 and 2021. This year was their “Go Green Carnival 4.0”. The diocesan committee is very grateful for the generosity of the CSTM parish priest, Fr Adrian Francis Mathews, and his team led by Irene Mirandah in sharing their Go Green event with the diocesan team, providing us a platform to celebrate the Launch of PROTEC year 3 in a fun filled way!
